Manufacturing
We don't outsource production. Every piece of furniture that leaves Vivani Design has been through our own hands at every stage — from raw timber to finished, packed unit.
This is what gives us control over quality, consistency, and timelines.

Timber & Raw Material
All wood is sourced through verified, legal, and traceable supply chains. We maintain our own timber stock — mango, acacia, oak, sheesham, and teak — seasoned and graded before any production begins.
Moisture content is maintained between 6–12% across all wood entering production.

Machining
Our machining area handles all cutting, milling, routing, and CNC carving in-house. Consistent jigs and farma are used across all production runs to ensure dimensional accuracy from the first piece to the last.
Equipment: panel saws, CNC routers, thickness planers, spindle moulders, multi-bore drilling machines.

Assembly
All joinery is done in-house — mortise and tenon, dowel, and hardware-assisted joints depending on the design requirement.
Plank width is maintained between 2.5 to 6 inches. Wooden cleats and internal bracing are added where structural reinforcement is needed. Triangle corner blocks are fitted on internal frames for long-term stability.

Sanding
All planks are pre-sanded before assembly. Post-assembly sanding is done in stages — from coarse to fine — before any finish is applied. No finish goes on an unsanded surface.

Finishing
We have dedicated, enclosed polish booths for consistent finish application across all pieces. Finishes available include natural, walnut, ebony, white wash, grey wash, black, and custom colour matching on request.
All finishes are tested for scratch resistance, stain resistance, and UV stability before production approval.

Marble
Our in-house marble unit handles cutting, edging, and fitting for all marble top and marble component pieces. We work with all varieties of Indian marble — Makrana white, Andhi grey, Rainforest brown, and others on request.
Marble is paired with solid wood and metal bases across our dining, living, and accent furniture range.

Quality Control
Every piece goes through a structured pre-shipment inspection before packing — covering dimensions, finish quality, joint integrity, hardware function, and structural stability.
We follow AQL 2.5 inspection level as standard. Third-party inspection by SGS, Bureau Veritas, or Intertek can be arranged on buyer request.

Packaging
We manufacture our own packaging material in-house through our packaging unit, N.K. Packers — cartons, foam corners, honeycomb sheets, and inner protective wrapping are all produced and controlled by us.
We follow ISTA 3A packaging standard as default for all export shipments. Drop ship and retail-ready packaging available on request.
